Description Kevin Barnes CLA 2009-09-24 15:15:53 EDT
org.eclipse.ui.internal.forms.widgets.TextSegment calls GC.textExtent when measuring strings and drawString to draw them. For consistency, it should call drawText instead of drawString.

Have you noticed anything drawn incorrectly as a result of this? I'd like to have a way to test the change.
Comment 2 Kevin Barnes CLA 2009-09-25 14:13:45 EDT
No, it's just good practice to match textExtent/drawText, and stringExtent/drawString.
Comment 3 Chris Goldthorpe CLA 2009-10-01 15:03:08 EDT
Fixed in HEAD.
