Eclipse Web Developer Tools
Version: 3.1.0.v200905242131-7R77FShEVw2xUGpF1LiNxdVAELXy
Build id: 20090616035105

1. Create a new project with New Project > Static Web Project
2. And an HTML page by selecting WebContent, and then New > HTML Page
3. Open with HTML editor
4. Inside the body element type:
<!--
(at this point, the comment auto closes)
5. Remove ending -->

At this point, an error is flagged "Comment not closed".

6. Type comment and closing -->

At this point, the error marker persists. It persists through editing and file
save. The only way to clear the error is to close the document and reopen it.

I have seen cases where multiple errors are listed, but they normally only
occur with more content in the html file.

I think the changes to bug 285285 should have fixed this.
