Description
Anthony Hunter
I just tried this many times (Vista, 3.4.2, my RCP app) and could not make it happen. The ghost thing that was being dragged was the icon and it's text (the whole line), and it always was in the same spot relative to the where I clicked on the cursor. I tried clicking somewhere else first (in an unrelated tree) and could never make it happen. In any case, if this is an issue, it's probably in SWT land. Any other ideas for making this happen? Adding Rodolfo who reported the issue was: This can become a major annoyance to the customers as it is not clear where the element will end up, at the cursor location or at the location of the ghost element. This is a usability and consumability issue. Well let's see of the SWT folks have seen this, this is not something the ProjectExplorer has any control over. Could you give 3.6 M1 a try and let us know if you still see this? (It seemed OK to me there). Still waiting to see if you are still seeing this in 3.6 M2... This is a one-off bulk update. (The last one in the triage migration). Moving bugs from swt-triaged@eclipse to platform-swt-inbox@eclipse.org and adding "triaged" keyword as per new triage process: https://wiki.eclipse.org/SWT/Devel/Triage See Bug 518478 for details. Tag for notification/mail filters: @TriageBulkUpdate This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. As such, we're closing this bug. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it and reopen this bug. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant. -- The automated Eclipse Genie. |
