When I set the icon of a command/menu entry to @platform:/plugin/org.example/$nl$/icons/e16/Symbol Delete.png@ then the icon is correctly displayed in PDE but not during runtime. The bundle that contains the icon is loaded.

Meaning it should work already? PDE can display the icon, yet the runtime fails to load it.

We have core runtime support, but we must have missed something in command images and/or menu contributions.
