Description Luciana Moreira CLA 2009-07-30 13:00:53 EDT
Build ID: 20090621-0832

Steps To Reproduce:
1.Create a project with some source classes
2.Add an entry in the build path to a variable, which is actually just a directory
3.The project will compile and run normaly
4.In the debugg output click on a stack trace to jump to the source code.

More information:
The source code that we click on is available. Instead of preventing the user from looking into to the source code, eclipse should be resilient and present the source code that is actually available. Eclipse can present a warning message indicating that the path has errors, but this should be done when building the project ad not in the debugg mode.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
