Description Lenik CLA 2009-07-29 11:31:33 EDT
Build ID: I20090611-1540

Steps To Reproduce:
1, Download eclipse-3.5 and mdt-uml2-3.0.0
2a, unzip mdt-uml2-3.0.0 to c:/eclipse folder
2b-1, unzip mdt-uml2-3.0.0 to c:/uml2 folder
2b-2, create eclipse/links folder and new file uml2.link with content: "path=../uml2"

3, start eclipse, create new workspace
4, show Error Log view,
for 2a it's ok, but for 2b it reports
"The artifact file for osgi.bundle,org.eclipse.uml2,3.0.0.v200905041045 was not found."

My link file is correct, I use this way to install plugins like EMF, TPTP, BIRT, etc. all works. But when I try on MDT-UML2, it failed.

P.S. It's mdt-uml2-SDK-3.0.0, not mdt-uml2-3.0.0

I've tried this out with the latest M7 build of UML2 and M7a of EMF and it works fine.

In your example, I think the path you specified (../uml2) may be incorrect.
For that to work, you would have to have the uml2 folder under c:/eclipse/uml2 since the links folder is under c:/eclipse/links.

Try specifying an absolute path in your .links file to confirm.
