Description
Ralf Hauser
Ralf, I'm not sure what the steps have to do with the summary? If I understand your steps well, someone created a symlink to a jar file in his/her workspace. Then it was checked into the repository. During synchronization the jar file can be picked up to your workspace, however it won't be a symlink anymore. How does it affect your setup? Could you elaborate before we apply the right solution? apologies for confusing the thing, forget about the sym-link. Before obtaining a file from the repository by pressing the button "update" it would be great to know its size beforehand (in particular if it is over a slow GSM link and you should leave the train soon...) Changing the summary and moving to the right place. thx, as the world is going svn, please also add SVN besides CVS Good point. What svn client do you use? Subvesive or Subclipse? trigris subclipse 1.6 Ralf, you should raise a bug against Subclipse. Their issue tracker is here http://subclipse.tigris.org/servlets/ProjectProcess?pageID=t65B1R This issue goes to Subversive. They may be perhaps keen on fixing it too. Ralf, you mixed up Subversive and Subclipse. Anyway, we can't show size for file because SVN operation which returns statuses doesn't provide any info about file size. Also I can't see much sense to show file size because if you make file update, you will get not the whole file content but diff delta. P.S. Ralf, you don't need to add yourself to CC if you are bug reporter. |
