Description

You say "On connection (to the new repo), all the files in my local sandbox appear as if they do not exist remotely (in the repo).". This is what normally happens when you share a project with a new repository unless the repository already has a project of the same name in which case Eclipse will warn the user of the situation and try to do it's best (which admittedly could be improved but is already above and beyond what CVS itself provides). Are you saying that the project should already exist in the new repository? If so, files will either be marked as outgoing additions (if no corresponding file exists remotely) or as conflicting additions. If this is the case you are experiencing then, yes, Eclipse support could be improved and we are currently investigating the possibilities. If you are experiencing some other problem, please describe the situation in more detail. |
