We should integrate the GProf plugins and tests with our automated builds.

I'm going to look into doing this but would like the warnings (bug #285328) and tests (bug #285309) issues to be cleaned up beforehand or very shortly afterwards.

Applied in revision 23397.  I'll push a build now and we can deal with any fall-out in other bugs :)
