Steps To Reproduce:
Only happens sometimes:

1. Do something in an editor.
2. Hit Ctrl+S.
3. Get an error about "Queueing viewer updates". Details indicated a NullPointerException.

Alas, the error log is empty.

Most likely a duplicate of Bug 276207 or Bug 277356...

Based on the info in this bug, I'm going to mark it as a dup of bug 277356.  The theory in that bug is that you will no longer see this problem in build I20090630-1125 and later.
