To switch the logo you must replace a whole layoutset. To make this easier a separate layoutset for the logo would be usefull or an extension point.

Patch for org.eclipse.rap.examples

The patch contains changes which override a layoutset to replace the logo in the examples bundle. A file called "logo.png" must be placed in "org.eclipse.rap.examples/icons" folder because it will be used as the new logo of the examples bundle.

The logo for the examples demo

This is the logo for the examples demo. It must be placed in the "org.eclipse.rap.examples/icons" folder.

PS: Sorry for attaching the mylyn context, I don't know why this was attached, too.

See the attached patch and png file for switching the logo in the examples bundle. I have also committed the required changes in the design bundle to CVS HEAD.
