There are several bugs at play here, including bug 279309 and bug 263600. I'll mark this as a dup of bug 263600 since that covers the lack of progress indication with the Galileo site. The issue with the auto-expanding details was moved to platform UI since that is the standard jobs progress monitor dialog. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 263600 *** |
Created attachment 139530 [details] Screenshot: ugly progress dialog Build ID: I20090611-1540 (3.5rc) When I install stuff from Galileo, the progress dialog does not look pretty: (1) Text messages are empty most of the time. They flash up extremely briefly at times just to vanish immediately after. (2) The "details" pane is forced open. Even if I close "Details" it jumps open again immediately. See attached screenshot.
