Steps to reproduce:
make new php project
go to php perspective
on the problems view > preferences 
in the "Limit visible items per group to: 9999999999"

Expected result:
value to be accepted 

Actual result:
show "Value must be an Integer"



Additional information:

values after 2147483647 with 10 digits are not recognized like an Integer, if this is the limit, it should show the correct message.

Sorry for letting this rot for over a year - the bug was still assigned to the PDT project's inbox even though the product and component were set to Platform UI.

It is a platform bug.

With the fix to Bug# 231081, the limits is a spinner. This wouldn't happen now
