Steps To Reproduce:

1. create a new JFrame with a JTable including a TableModel
( or use http://cxg.de/?id=dhSrfbgeKTQusAP )
2. set a breakpoint inside of the setValueAt method of the TableModel
3. run the debugger an edit a cell of the JTable


More information:
The above steps will make the X Window System unresponsible to mouseclicks and keyboard actions until the java process gets killed.

I have testet this in following linux distributions:
Ubuntu jaunty, Debian lenny, Suse Linux 11

using the sun java vm 1.6.0_13-b03

I can reproduce this (Eclipse 3.4.2 on Unbunt Hardy Heron, Java 1.6.0_07).

But if I disable "Launch in Background" in the Debug Run Configuration everything works perfectly.

If I try to disable "Launch In Background" nothing changes... Eclipse in Ubuntu Jaunty still locks up X
