Description Fabian Steeg CLA 2009-05-21 18:55:24 EDT
This is related to bug 277380.

To make use of Zest animations from DOT, I plan to add basic animation support to the DOT-to-Zest transformations, representing animation steps as subgraphs in the DOT input. If this works out, it would provide a basic animation DSL for Zest that remains Graphviz-compatible (meaning a single representation could be visualized as an animation with Zest and as an image file with Graphviz, which would describe the steps of the animation).

See http://wiki.eclipse.org/Graphviz_DOT_as_a_DSL_for_Zest for details about the planned implementation and examples of the intended DOT input and the desired resulting Zest animations.

Implemented by attachment 141378 [details].

Would require a different approach with graph creation at runtime than implemented in attachment 141378 [details] (see [1] and [2] for details).
