I suggest org.eclipse.mylyn.wikitext.sdk-feature as the plug-in folder name and org.eclipse.mylyn.wikitext.sdk as the feature id. It looks like there's a convention for having '_feature' appended to the end of feature ids. Instead of breaking with convention I've given it the id of org.eclipse.mylyn.wikitext.sdk_feature. We can change this at your discretion. I've made the necessary changes to org.eclipse.mylyn.sdk_feature, the map files and releng. As far as I know this convention stems from the Eclipse 3.1 days and is not used anymore (see Feature Details in Help> About). Unfortunately we are stuck with the old feature names for Mylyn to avoid breaking updates but I would strongly recommend to not use the _feature postfix. P2 for instance appends ".feature.group" to features which looks odd if the actual plug-in id also contains "feature". Did you add the new SDK plug-in and feature to the mylyn-extssh.psf file? It would also be nice if you could send out an email to mylyn-dev notifying other committers of the new cvs artifacts. Reopening. Fixed the id as per your recommendation, updated psf files |
