In eclipse 3.3 and before, to have code hints/auto completion for php codes, one way is to apply the following comment:

 /* @var My_Object $myobjectinstance */

Then once you type $myobjectinstance->, a dropdown list will show up and you can select any of the public methods for this object.

Unfortunately, this doesn't work anymore in 3.4 Ganymede and it's quite frustrating, can we please have it back?

This seems to be another duplicate of bug 260330 or bug 238505 (already closed; unreasonably so, IMHO), please consider adding any additional comments/use-cases there.

It works like expected, and after comment line have necessary class components at PDT Content Assist
