I guess this bug is related to the common Eclipse infrastructure...

This problem not resolvel long time. Please, fix this bug.

If i change keyboart typing to russian language and press hot keys combination "ctrl + S" documrnt not save! But this very big problem. Every time before save I change my langiuage to english, save document and return to my native language.

This problem long time been in Photoshop and in latest releases developers fix it :-)

Michael, you can simply reassign the bug and changes its component instead of cloning it in the future. :)

Anton, I do not appear to have any problems with this when entering in Japanese text. If I hit 'enter' and complete my character insertion then I can invoke Ctrl+S without asking SCIM to change back to English input.

Ok. My native language - russian. In this language not work Ctrl + S (on keyboard Ctrl + Ы).
I use Ubuntu linux 8.10.

Do any keybindings work? What about menus? Can you use Alt+F to access the 'File' menu?

In russian keybindings I press Ctrl+F in php editor and ... - no reaction! This not work!
Maybe this problem in eclipse core.
