Description Greg Wilkins CLA 2009-03-30 19:54:21 EDT
The jetty project would like to have bugzilla svn integration setup so
that a commit to svn can have a bugzilla number in the comment and will automatically attach the diff to the bugzilla issue.

I believe there are multiple solutions for this including bugtraq and scmbug

If such an integration has already been done for another project, we'd follow their lead. Otherwise we are happy to help select the solution.

Hi Greg, we don't currently have tooling for that. You can get the first part of what you want from using Mylyn in Eclipse to handle your working sets, though. Mylyn will make attaching patches easier as well, though not as automatic as your requested solution.

We're not currently planning to invest in any further tooling around either CVS or SVN until the Git discussion is finalized and a direction is clearer. Please see bug 257706 and various other associated bugs.

With our push towards git, I don't think we'll be investing time towards svn tooling.
