Description
Alexey Mising name
We're experiencing the same issue. Our project has ~20K and the refresh after “Mark as merged” or “svn update” can take up to 10 min. This is very painful. Can't you solve this problem? Is there any other complications in making disable regular update of the whole project after each transaction? Refreshing the .svn folder after each commit of a single file means that the number of file refreshes is about the square of the number of files being committed. See: org.polarion.team.svn.core.operation.local.RefreshResourcesOperation.runImpl(). Sharing a project with 2000 small text files (having only the content "file [file number]") takes more than 30 minutes using Eclipse 3.5 (org.eclipse.team.svn_0.7.8.I20090506-1500 and the svnkit connector). The same operation takes only 5 minutes with the Subclipse connector. Sharing a project with 8000 small files in single directory takes several hours. Igor, are you aware of this performance issue? I do not see you on the Assignee or Cc lists. (In reply to comment #4) > Igor, are you aware of this performance issue? I do not see you on the Assignee > or Cc lists. Yes, Joerg, I'm on CC.
