Requirement:

Extend another common navigator instance including all bindings, plus have the ability to add additional bindings.

Checking on the plan for this item in 3.6 timeframe?
We (IBM) would like to see this enhancement, and can offer assistance testing any patches/changes in this area.

We have a custom common navigator view that extends the "Project Explorer", and would like to inherit all of the existing bindings(to PE), plus add extra "custom" bindings to our instance.

I should be able to get this in by M4.

If you have a proposal for the implementation, I would love to see it.  If possible, please also include a patch that extends the unit tests to test this feature.  This can extend the existing tests for bug 218127 (I assuming I added tests for this).
