Steps To Reproduce:
1. Open target platform preferences page and click Add button.
2. Select Template option and click View Template
3. Nothing happens, so click Next button.
4. Error message is displayed at the top of the window.


More information:
The New Target Definition page displays with the first item in the combo box for the template option is selected.

However it looks like the page hasn't been initialized properly as if you actually select the first option then the View Template and Next buttons work as expected.
