Benjamin, didn't you have a patch for this already ;)? We have a couple bugs around this topic open. I'm all for PDE enforcing this, at least from the new project wizard as a default. (In reply to comment #1) > Benjamin, didn't you have a patch for this already ;)? I had, yes, see bug 215088. > > [...] I'm all for PDE enforcing this, > at least from the new project wizard as a default. So you changed your mind, Chris ;) In bug 215088 you proposed to add the "add qualifier" functionality to the Organize Manifest wizard. IMHO, we should also have the ability to add .qualifier to freshly created bundles. I would be in favor of enhancing the patch of bug 215088 comment 3 to add a dialog setting in the new bundle wizard in the form of a toggle button just after the bundle ID text field, that would add/remove ".qualifier" at the end of the string when toggled/untoggled. The trickiest part would be to find a nice icon to represent the thing... (because we don't wan't a button with a text as long as "Toggle qualifier"...) *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 273742 *** |
