Please add some tests where multiple UIElements are registered (you can subclass UIElement directly) so that you can confirm the updated state of 2 groups of 3 radio buttons applied to the same command.

   How to verify this bug? Should I look into the test code and verify the presence of the tests there?

Yes, you can either run the UI tests and check JUnit to make sure they run or look at a test report for one of the recent I builds ... if the tests are listed, it is verified.
