Moving to UI. I suspect a change in the GTK layout algorithms. Claude - which version of GTK are you using? Andrew is using KDE RedHat 7.3 and I am using Sawfish. Claude is using large fonts - the problem only occurs with the large fonts setting. The issue was that the ProgressMonitor had old code that constrained the size to 450 pixels in an attempt to make it a minimum size. However this would also shorten dialogs greater than 450 pixels wide and cause truncation with large fonts. I'm surprised this didn't show up sooner as the code has been there for ages. This should be in M3. *** Bug 26480 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 26837 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 29044 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 29797 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Marking as closed. |
