In 3.5M5 there is a preference page to manage the software sites introduced. User can add/remove and import/export the sites. However, when I imported some sites than all of them appeared in the table, but they all were disabled and I had to enable every each site by hand. Fortunately I had only few sites, but it would be really painful having tens or even more of sites.
I think that the sites should be enabled by default after importing or add a possibility to make all the sites enabled in one click.

When the sites were exported, they must have been disabled in p2, or unchecked in UM.  The import honors whatever the state was at export time.

I think that having multi-select enablement is the answer here, that is covered in bug 260098.
