Description Terence CLA 2002-11-13 22:00:28 EST
It would be nice to be able to associate a task with a resource by either:
- browsing to it in the task properties box
- or by right clicking on a resource and selecting "add task..." from the popup.

at the moment, the only way to achieve this is to right-click on the left bar of
a file in the text editor and select "add task...".

You can do so currently by using Edit / Add Task...
This is not on the Navigator's context menu though, although Add Bookmark... is
(which is also on the Edit menu).

This is inconsistent. Either both should be on the context menu, or neither
should be. CC'ing Erich for comment on the Package Explorer's context menu.

Reassigning to Nick since he is taking ownership of Navigator
Comment 3 Nick Edgar CLA 2004-09-27 10:27:06 EDT
In 3.0, both the Navigator and Package explorer have Add Task and Add Bookmark
in the Edit menu, but not in the context menu. This was done deliberately to
reduce the size of the context menu.
