Description
Pawel Angerman
I'm getting this too, using Galileo PDT package on Fedora 11. java version "1.6.0_14" Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_14-b08) Java HotSpot(TM) Server VM (build 14.0-b16, mixed mode) This is caused by KDE clipboard (klipper) - it works incorrectly with Eclipse. When you disable klipper you won't have problems. I have the same problem copy/paste is a real problem here I see this in the Java editor as well. There is a workaround described here: http://techtavern.wordpress.com/2008/08/10/fixing-copy-paste-issues-on-eclipse-and-kde/ And in this posting the sort-of-klipper maintainer mentions that basically Eclipse is being naughty here. Which would explain why only Eclipse seems to have issues with Klipper. Btw. the workaround makes it better, but I still loose texts when copying data. This problem is fixed by bug#153809 Per last comment, resolved. Thanks! *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 153809 *** Closing... Ilina Stefanova |
