Description Greg Adams CLA 2001-10-10 22:39:49 EDT
10. Help system is not useful for modal dialogs.
(CMVC defect 179093, RPRS ???) If you bring up a modal dialog and
request help, the help prespective is invoked in the workbench, but
since the dialog is modal the user can not interact with the system.
Also, the perspective completely changes the entire desktop contents
making it hard to read the help and try to follow any step by step
   instructions it provides.

There is a 2.0 plan item for this.
Comment 3 Kevin Haaland CLA 2002-01-22 11:27:43 EST
Duplicate of existing plan item.
A standalone help browser for help solves this problem.
