Webmaster: As a result of Tech Alf being terminated and archived, the following committers will no longer have provisions to an existing Eclipse project. As a result, their committers accounts are to be deleted: B Carroll G Stanchev K Parker M Phippard T Buss As a result, I have marked their records in the DB as "deactivated" from the project. Thanks, Sharon The CVS,website and downloads have been packed into an archive and placed here: http://archive.eclipse.org/technology/archives/alf.tgz . I've also removed the indicated committers and the ALF groups. Re-assigning to Anne so she can review and close out the project in the database. -M. I've changed the status of ALF to Archived in the Foundation database and in the projects.txt file. I think this task is now done. Reassigning to Wayne for verification and/or closing. Note that in general I have some work to do to create a better way to access information about archived projects. It's in my queue, but I can't say when it might be done. Looks FIXED to me. Since ALF has been archived shouldn't its previous home page (http://www.eclipse.org/alf/) be removed as other archived projects are? It even lists ALF as in the "incubation" phase, which led me to believe (before digging further) that ALF is still an active project. Webmaster, can you kill the website? Is there some kind of redirect that we normally put up to inform folks of the archival? *** Bug 294359 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Hmm, looks like the website only existed on the front-end servers it had been removed from the back end. I've put a redirect in place to point people visiting /alf at /archived. -M. |
