There seems to be no way of getting from an extension point in the manifest 
editor to the corresponding schema editor.  

If an extension point has a schema attribute, the context menu for the 
extension point should have: Open Schema.

Actually, there is. When an element is selected in the list, it is possible to 
click on the schema entry in the property sheet and click on the local tool bar 
button 'Open to file'.

Nevertheless, we added 'Open Schema' context menu action to the extension point 
list.
