Description Mickael Istria CLA 2008-12-04 11:11:24 EST
+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #252792 +++

Projects must have a written ramp down policy by M6+0, linked in the table above pending inclusion of ramp down element in the XML project plan. (One of the issues identified with this guideline is that its not so much the ramp down policy of how many votes are needed for each bug fix that we need to be consistent on, but rather the meaning of each of the milestones and release candidates. See Platform 3.4 Endgame plan as a guideline. See also Galileo Final Daze.)

I wrote a Ramp-Down policy at http://wiki.eclipse.org/JWT_Ramp-Down-Policy#Build_Schedule. Any comments are welcome

The ramp-down policy is great in my opinion. Only one thing that still need to be changed in my opinion are the JWT versions:

You mentioned version 0.6 in December and 0.7 at the end of February. We postponed 0.6, so it will probably appear at the end of February / beginning of March. The release 0.7 will then happen in April/Mai whereas version 1.0 (Graduation review!) is planned only AFTER Galileo in order to have a bigger community then, more press articles, presentations, etc.

Otherwise I guess this ramp-down policy includes everything that is necessary. Thanks, Mickael, great job!

Simple though complete, OK for me.

Since you adapted the dates now and Marc is also okay with the current ramp-down policy, I guess this bug can be closed.
