Seems like the best solution would be to have this included as part of the product configuration. Should we ad an enhancement request for 3.8 Did we already file a bug against Bugzilla? I think it makes sense to request this. Either suggestion sound reasonable to me. Should we fill a request for an web service or /show_bug.cgi? I would prefer /show_bug.cgi or config.cgi since we already parse that anyways. (In reply to comment #7) > I would prefer /show_bug.cgi or config.cgi since we already parse that anyways. OK the I fill two enhancement because we want to move to webservices. Maybe we should not fix this. Reason: 3.6 tuned this off by default and 4.0 moved the code to an extension that should maintained by somebody. See: http://www.bugzilla.org/releases/4.0/release-notes.html#v40_feat_vot_ext Thoughts? That sounds very reasonable to me. I am assuming that the voting extension will be popular and often enabled and there could still be interest in better task editor integration. Hence, I'll leave this bug open and mark it as helpwanted to indicate that we would be happy to resolve this through a community contribution but don't have capacity to address this bug within the project. Mylyn has been restructured, and our issue tracking has moved to GitHub [1]. We are closing ~14K Bugzilla issues to give the new team a fresh start. If you feel that this issue is still relevant, please create a new one on GitHub. [1] https://github.com/orgs/eclipse-mylyn |
