Description Antoine Toulmé CLA 2008-11-06 08:41:01 EST
In the BPMN modeler blog:
http://dev.eclipse.org/blogs/bpmnmodeler/wp-admin/users.php

I cannot change my publicly displayed name. It remains Antoine Toulm.

Please either:
1. Change my public name from Toulm to Toulme
2. Fix the page so that I can change from Antoine Toulm to Antoine Toulme
3. Fix bugs with accentuated characters, and blame the French for giving names with those stupid accentuated characters.

The Blogs site has undergone a massive upgrade, so I'm closing this as FIXED. Please reopen if the issue is still present in the new Blogs site.

I'm not sure I follow... Don't you see these options in the profile page?

I do, I change the value from "Antoine Toulm" to "Antoine Toulme", and when I save, the value shows as unchanged, and the old name is still used in the top toolbar "Howdy Antoine Toulm".

I just tried that a couple of minutes ago, so certainly after the upgrade.

Oh it doesn't *save* ... Ah I understand.

I've fixed this, so it saves now. The only caveat is that, if you have posted comments on other blogs, the Comment Author is a text field that is populated from the display name at the time you write the comment; it's not linked to your display name. See screenshot.

Marking fixed. Please reopen if I've missed something.
