See bug 252813. We need to update all of our provider values to be something other than just Eclipse.org. The planning council suggests using something like "The Equinox Project" for the Equinox bundles. We should do this in M6. See http://dev.eclipse.org/mhonarc/lists/rt-pmc/msg00320.html We should use Eclipse.org - Equinox. I will provide a patch to Equinox bundles in core.map. Equinox patch (no p2)
John, I updated all the other Equinox bundles except p2 to use "Eclipse.org - Equinox" as provider of the bundle. Can you update the p2 bundles. Do you know if the rest of the platform is aware of this must-do for Galileo? Perhaps Eclipse.org is ok for the "Eclipse" project? Sure, I will do the Equinox bundles. The Eclipse project isn't aware of this requirement since it's not mentioned in the bug description. The branding bug for the platform has been marked fixed (bug 254312). I have done p2, simpleconfigurator, and frameworkadmin. Can this be closed now? Thanks John, Yes I think we are done. Marking fixed. I noticed some p2 bundles were missed (or added since I did this), so I have done another pass and updated a few more p2 bundles with new branding ("Eclipse.org - Equinox").
