build 20021023
version 2.1

This seems to be a recent problem; I didn't notice it in previous versions.

1. Open the Edit Working Set dialog
2. Try selecting/deselecting projects, or expanding a tree.

Bug: doing almost anything to edit the current working set seems to take longer
than it used to. Deselecting a large project (for example
org.eclipse.ui.workbench) takes almost 5 seconds during which the cursor
changes to an hourglass and the user can't do anything but wait to finish.
Expanding a project takes nearly as long.

For something as simple as deselecting a checkbox, I think that 4-5 seconds is
a little too long to wait.

Do you observe this in Java working sets or also in Resource working sets?
I confirmed that deselecting a selected org.eclipse.ui.workbench takes a couple
of seconds in a Java working set. There is no delay when doing the same in a
Resource working set.
Expanding org.eclipse.ui.workbench for the first time also takes a few seconds.
This may be caused by the fix for bug 24398.

This doesn't seem to be a problem with Resource working sets; only Java working
sets.
