We will provide a number of often asked for improvements to our help support, such as filtering of the navigation tree based on Criteria, grouping of search results based on Criteria, quick search from the navigation tree (similar to quick print), better accessibility, and more control over the presentation. Ah, is any of this planned to come in specific 3.5 milestones?

I'm trying to reconcile the items stated in this enhancement here with what is listed on the Eclipsepedia page for User Assistance features in Eclipse 3.5:

This plan item identifies some contributions which we are hoping to get from another team within IBM - I need to find out which of those possible enhancements are going to materialize.

Here is an update on this plan item. 

Better accessibility. The biggest problem here was Bug 231064 which has been fixed.
More control over the presentation. This referred to the ability to process help pages before display. Completed - see Bug 259545.
Quick search from the navigation tree. This is ready to commit and is waiting for a CQ approval, depending on when that happens this feature will be committed in M5 or M6. 
Criteria - support for criteria for searching or filtering will not be in Eclipse 3.5.

Quick search has now been committed. We have now provided "a number of often asked for improvements to our help support" including most but not all of the "such as" items. Marking  as FIXED.
