Deadlock in Software Update User Interface:
This is how I produced it:
- Start Software Updates
- Available Software
- Added a new remote site http://eclipse.org/tptp/updates/site.xml
- Expanded that site started the "Fetching children" (could be seen in lower right corner of eclipse)
- Collapsed that site
- Opened Ganymede site and selected TPTP from there
- Pressed install
The progressbar showed progress once then stopped. I could not cancel the install, could not leave the update window, could not cancel the fetching-children-process because I had to leave the update window.

Eclipse was not reacting to any input. Had to be shut down by killing the process.

Which build do you use?

My guess to what happened:
The "Fetching children" process was blocking all internet access (waiting unlimited for something) so that the installation could not download the required packages.
After restarting eclipse I could install TPTP (via Ganymede site) without problems. I removed the link shown above from my update sites because I found the TPTP update site (http://eclipse.org/tptp/updates/) under "manage sites".

It would be a good idea to change the installation instruction of TPTP (http://www.eclipse.org/tptp/home/downloads/4.5.0/documents/installguide/InstallGuide45.html) as it is not necessary to add that site. And maybe the shown link is even wrong?
