Description Raphael Ackermann CLA 2008-10-21 10:49:14 EDT
Build ID: M20080911-1700

Steps To Reproduce:
1. search for a string. String is found in *.properties and *.jsp file.
2. open the *.properties file by double clicking in search view. --> the file is shown in the package explorer. it has interest.
3. open the *.jsp file by double clicking in search view --> The *.properties file disappears in the package explorer and the *.jsp file appears. the *.properties file editor gets closed.

This even happens if I go into the editor and change the first file, or when I mark the first file as a landmark. Upon opening the 2nd file, the editor gets closed and the interest disappears.

if I open the 2nd file using Ctrl+R both files will be open and the other one doesn't get closed.

We don't yet have enough information to reproduce this. It sounds like something is causing the editor to close, which, correctly, causes it to be removed from context. Do you know what could be causing the editor to close?
