If I select the Checkout As... action from the CVS Repository View you wil get 3
dialogs - 2 progess dialogs and then a dialog asking for move destination. If
you need that messages and that much progress you would be better off having the
rename dialog include a progress area.

I'm not sure if there's anything I can do at the current time but I want to 
have a look before I move this to post 2.1

I have fixed what I can but there is still the possibility of having multiple 
dialogs (i.e. one for initial progress to detemrine if the remote project has 
a .project, one for the checkout wizard and one for the New Project Wizard if 
the user chooses to configure the poject). Marking as "later" because we 
willwant to change how this works if, at some point, capabilities ae 
introduced (also adding dependency on bug 26224).

As of now 'LATER' and 'REMIND' resolutions are no longer supported.
Please reopen this bug if it is still valid for you.
