South Park Character Cartman as Hitler (with Brown clothes)

Hi,

I know, this might be considered a bit of a long shot and maybe I am a bit sensitive for 2 reasons (a. just visited Austria after a right wing election victory and b. working on significant film projects about WW2 myself) but I just wanted to mention it, so others don't feel offended at some point (remember the Swastica affair at Google for example)

When I was invited to see the new UI by a fellow Committer at XING I found it quite nice and entertaining. Plus a good and easy to understand User Experience is what e.g. makes my partner favour Mac Software like Garage Band over some established rivals like Cubase (although some of us developers may not be so happy with Apple and their support for Eclipse and Java ;-)

I especially like the "User" section as it more or less mimics the Welcome screen of Eclipse itself. Which helps people and creates a consistent experience.

The only thing I found a little bit strange is the cartoon character for "Committers".

It not only has the exact haircut of Cartman from "South Park" dressed up as Adolf Hitler in an episode!
(see "http://sicktracks.com/galleries/data/500/2550cartmanHitler.JPG" I also try to attach an image, keep in mind he looks in a mirror here)

The icon is also dressed up in a similar "brownish" jacket like the Nazis all above them Hitler used to wear.
And if you say, this is Orange, not Brown, please check out this page from Austria:
http://www.bzoe.at/

Their "Brown 2.0" is also Orange, but most of their ideologies despite disguised in modern "Lifestyle" and Disco Sound are not so different from their ancestors...

So basically it comes down to you don't like the way the committer looks on the button. Marking this as a dupe of 249371.
