There seems to be no solution at this time to set a page border in BIRT reports. I wanted to set a black border around every page of my report, which should probably be a setting on the master page.

Using a table for pagination and adding a border there will create a border, but only as big as the content on the current page is. I would like to have the same border on every page.

The only solution i can think of is using a background image on the master page, but i would prefer a more dynamic solution, like using javascript or a BIRT feature.

Does UI or Engine support master page borders?

Could it be a solution to create a style "report" or "page" and set a border there. Currently nothing happens if doing so.

In the MasterPage advanced tab, can set the master page borders. Reassign.

It would be nice, if the border could be independent from the actual content of the pages. So if I set a border on a masterpage, it should always have the same dimensions, even if page is only half filled with content.
