Description Kevin Doyle CLA 2008-09-30 20:24:01 EDT
When creating a new connection I plan to use it, so it would be nice if it was expanded when I create it.

This is how it use to work for IBM RSE.

By "expand", do you mean "connect"?

I think that this should be a Preference in the Wizard, similar to the "check address" checkbox on the first wizard page. There could be a "connect when done" checkbox.
Comment 2 Kevin Doyle CLA 2008-10-01 08:13:39 EDT
I mean expand. I should be able to see the subsystems for my connection after creating it. It shouldn't be collapsed to just the host.
Comment 3 Martin Oberhuber CLA 2008-10-01 08:21:36 EDT
Yes, I agree, that sounds like a good enhancement.
No UI Checkbox would be needed for this.
Comment 4 David McKnight CLA 2008-10-06 16:31:47 EDT
I've committed code to expand the new connection when created via a wizard.

Dave can we backport this fix as well?

Okay, I've created bug 251397 for that.
