Description Jolene Moffitt CLA 2008-09-29 14:44:42 EDT
I installed the following version of Dali with all the pre-requisites
http://build.eclipse.org/webtools/committers/wtp-R3.1-I/20080925012741/I-3.1-20080925012741/

Open the Help and select the following fom the Contents:
Workbench Usr Guide
 - Getting Started
  - Basic Tutorial
   - Rearranging views and editors
    - Maximizing and Minimizing

Notice the breadcrumb shows
Workbench User Guide > Tasks > Working with Views and Editors

The breadcrumb should be
Workbench User Guide > Getting Started > Basic Tutorial > Rearraging views and editors Since this is what the other breadcrumbs are for items within this section.

Do you know which version of Eclipse this product is based on?
Comment 2 Neil Hauge CLA 2008-10-08 17:03:35 EDT
This build would have depended on eclipse-SDK-3.5M2-win32.

OK I can reproduce it. This page is included more than once in the table of contents and the help system creates the breadcrumb based on looking up the href of the page in the TOC. While this is incorrect it is would require a moderately large change to make it work, specifically the href for any page that appears in the TOC more than once would need to include a parameter to indicate the toc location opf gthat page. Adding this parameter to every node would be undesirable because it would increase the size of the HTML being passed across the net.

Is this one a duplicate to Bugzilla 234878:
