When looking at a diff outside Eclipse (for a reason such as merging a very old patch into some code that has evolved quite a bit), that diff is based on line numbers.

It would be nice if the compare viewer provided a Ctrl+L "Goto Line" command just like the editor.

Workaround: Right-click > Show Line numbers , but that shows the line numbers in all editors as well (where I don't need them).
