+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #236358 +++
Bug cloned to represent the fix going into the 3.4.x maintenance stream.

When I import a local site, select a feature from it and then use "Install..." the dialog that confirms the feature selection is empty (see screenshots). It seems that "Resolving Dependencies" refreshes the list of features in Available Software and causes the original selection to get lost.

The patch is in the original bug, it is very straightforward but needs to be tested more thoroughly against both HEAD and the M-stream.

committed to R3_4_maintenance branch >20081029.

Needs to be verified on the next M-build.
Here's how to cause the problem/verify the fix.

- Start with a clean build, no repo caches.
- Open Software Updates dialog. Do not expand any sites. The trick is to leave the Ganymede side unloaded. You can tell it's not loaded because it won't have the proper name, just its URL, until loaded.
- add http://update.eclemma.org as a site and expand it
- Check an eclemma item and press install
- The resolve will appear to take a long time. It is loading Ganymede and you can see the progress for that in the status line.
- Around the time that the repo finishes loading, you'll see the selections change in the available software page.

WITHOUT FIX: when the install wizard opens, it appears empty, although you'll be allowed to continue through the wizard and in fact could install Eclemma by completing it. (Or if there was a resolution error, you'd see the error in the wizard but nothing in the items list).
WITH FIX: the install wizard shows the selection you expect.
