Select a file in the navigator
Choose "Open With->Default Text Editor"
Then choose "Open With->System Editor"

Nothing happens on the second one, presumably because there is already an editor open
on that resource.  But maybe I want to open that file with two different kinds of editors.

This behavior was changed. It is not possible to open two editor in the same 
window but you can open system editors even if it is opened in the current 
window.
