The OSGi Alliance is currently revising the Core specifications. As the reference implementation for the OSGi Core Framework Specification, Equinox will be updated to implement these new features and changes to the spec.

Closing as fixed.  We have been involved in the OSGi standards process for the OSGi R4 v4.2 specification.
