It would be interesting to provide the required implementation to manage a CDO  repository as an Eclipse File System.

We need to look into the viability of the enhancement proposal, which could include a possible refactoring of CDO architecture to consider CDO repositories look like a typical file system, with folders/subfolders (CDOFolder) and files (CDOResources).

Adolfo,

Now that we implemented bug #249847 (Store resources in a hierarchical structure) an EFS provider could become easier to implement. What do you think? Are you still working on this issue?

At least a more consistent implementation without too many UnsuportedOperationExceptions :D. I love having that structure ;).

I'm afraid that I won't be able to work on this issue during this month. However, I have plans to work on it later or sooner, maybe in January ;).

Moving all open issues to 4.2. Open bugs can be ported to 4.1 maintenance after they've been fixed in master.
