While working with some project I create quite a few change sets, 
which helps me organize my later commits. Unfortunately these change
sets are lost when I close project. Is there a chance, that they remain
on project closure?

This is a bug, not an enhancement. I just lost precious minutes of my work time because I accidentally closed a project on which I had quite a few change sets, and the change sets are gone now.

This looks like a dupe of bug 76257 (marked as WONTFIX at the moment).

Yep. Would still be nice to have, but I won't pressure for it any more, since we moved to Git.
